Kouri forest situated 4 km. east of Kozani.
It houses a game farm (deer, roe deer, partridges, quails, turtle doves, pheasants).
There is also a tourist kiosk, a restaurant, a playground, basketball and tennis courts, and scout camping facilities.
The prefecture of Kozani is the largest prefecture of Western Macedonia. It is a large basin that is surrounded by the mountains of Larissa, Pieria, Imathia, and the Kozaniti mountains (Kamvounia, Siniatsiko, Mpourino and Voio).
